This course is designed to present psychologists and practitioners with The Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Training (ACT) approach to working while utilizing principles of pattern recognition training. 

 

ACT has been shown to be effective in addressing a variety of clinical conditions. Pattern recognition training has a robust body of evidence found in psychological as well as the social and biological sciences. Dr. Polk and Mr. Tenaglia will demonstrate how to use the acceptance and present-moment awareness process for behavioral change in this training. They will also identify the role of pattern recognition in generating the acceptance and committed action process.
