Learn a Mindful, Science-Based, and Powerful Approach to Life Change

The ACT Matrix is a deceptively simple yet profoundly effective tool for psychological flexibility and values-based action. Often described as a “Word Mandala,” the Matrix combines the conscious focus of a mandala with the precision of language to support meaningful life change.

In this one-day experiential training, you’ll learn how to use the ACT Matrix immediately with clients — and then explore what’s happening under the hood that makes it such a powerful intervention.

Whether you work with anxiety, depression, trauma, or everyday life challenges, the ACT Matrix offers a grounded, mindful framework that aligns beautifully with how many clinicians already think and work.

Why the ACT Matrix?

  • Simple enough to learn in minutes
  • Deep enough to support lasting transformation

  • Highly visual, experiential, and client-friendly

  • Ideal for mindful clinicians and values-oriented work

  • Flexible across diagnoses, settings, and populations

The Matrix helps clients:

  • Notice internal experiences without getting stuck in them

  • Clarify values and direction

  • Shift from experiential avoidance to committed action

  • Build psychological flexibility in real time

What You’ll Learn

This training blends experiential practice, clinical application, and conceptual clarity so you leave confident using the ACT Matrix in your work.

You will:

  • Practice guiding clients through acceptance and present-moment awareness

  • Connect the Matrix to the core processes of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
  • Apply the Matrix across a range of clinical issues
